Article Wizard Complete Guide
The Article Wizard guides you through creating a fully optimized article in up to 11 steps. This guide covers every option so you can make the most of each step.

Step 1: Basic Setup
Configure the foundation of your article:
Project Name: The title or topic of your article
Description: Optional notes about this article
Your Preferred Writer (Optional): Select a Writing Style Profile to clone that writer's style throughout your article. When selected, this automatically applies:
Writing tone and voice
Creativity level and formality
Custom instructions
Formatting preferences (tables, quotes, lists, bold, italic)
Point of view settings
Editorial Policy: Toggle to use your workspace's editorial guidelines
Tip: Selecting a Preferred Writer saves time by auto-filling Steps 6 (AI Settings) and 8 (Media & Formatting) with your writer's configured style.

Step 2: Business & Content Profile
Define your content strategy:
Business Type: Select your industry (Blogger, E-commerce, Agency, etc.)
Article Type: Choose the content format (Blog Post, How-To Guide, Listicle, etc.)
Reader Level: Target audience expertise (Beginner, Intermediate, Expert)
Content Goals: What you want to achieve with this article
Call to Action: What action readers should take after reading

Step 3: Topic & Content Foundation
Set up your topic and research preferences:
Input Mode: Choose "Topic" for general subjects or "Keyword" if you have a specific keyword
Topic/Keyword: Enter what your article is about
Target Country: Select the country you're targeting for SEO
Article Language: Choose the language for your content
Research Method:
AI Web Research: AI searches the web for relevant information
No Additional Research: Use only your provided input
File Upload: Upload documents as reference material

Step 4: Keyword Research
Select your target keywords:
Primary Keyword: AI suggests keywords based on your topic—select one main keyword to target
Secondary Keywords: Choose supporting keywords to include throughout the article
The AI analyzes search volume and competition to suggest the best keywords.

Step 5: Select References
(Only appears when using AI Web Research)
Choose which sources the AI should reference:
View web sources found by AI research
Select or deselect specific sources
AI will use selected sources to inform the article content


Step 6: AI & Content Generation
Configure how the AI writes your content (auto-filled if you selected a Preferred Writer):
Article Size:
Brief (800-1,200 words)
Detailed (1,500-2,000 words)
Comprehensive (2,500+ words)
Creativity Level: Conservative, Balanced, or Creative
Tone of Voice: Professional, Friendly, Casual, Authoritative, etc.
Point of View: First Person, Second Person, or Third Person
Formality: Formal, Semi-formal, or Informal
Include FAQ: Toggle to add an FAQ section
Custom Instructions: Add specific instructions for the AI (inherited from Preferred Writer if selected)

Step 7: Linking & SEO
Set up your link building strategy:
Internal Linking
Enable Internal Linking: Add links to other pages on your website
Number of Links: Choose how many internal links to include (1-5 or Automatic)
Automatic Mode: Let AI decide the optimal number
External Linking
Enable External Linking: Add links to authoritative external sources
Number of Links: Choose how many external links (1-5 or Automatic)
Include Sources: Specify domains to prioritize
Exclude Sources: Specify domains to avoid
Target Pages
Add specific URLs you want to link to
Set the anchor text and target word

Step 8: Media & Formatting
Configure images and text formatting (auto-filled if you selected a Preferred Writer):
Image Options
Enable Image Sourcing: Toggle to include images
Image Source:
Google Images: Source relevant images from the web
AI Generated: Create unique images with AI
Number of Images: How many in-article images to include
AI Image Prompt: Custom instructions for AI image generation
Featured Image: Add a main image for the article
Auto YouTube: Automatically embed relevant YouTube videos
Text Formatting
Include Tables: Add data tables where relevant
Include Quotes: Add blockquotes for emphasis
Include Lists: Use bullet and numbered lists
Bold Text: Highlight important words
Italic Text: Add emphasis with italics

Step 9: Select a Title
Generate and choose your article's title and meta description:
Meta Title: AI generates SEO-optimized title options—select your favorite
Meta Description: Choose or customize the description for search results

Step 10: Content Outline
Review and customize your article structure:
AI generates a complete outline with headings and subheadings
Drag and drop to reorder sections
Edit, add, or remove headings
Approve the outline before content generation


Step 11: Scheduling & Integration
Configure publishing settings:
CMS Integration
Select Integration: Choose your connected WordPress or Shopify site
Category/Blog: Select where to publish (WordPress category or Shopify blog)
Auto-Assign Category: Let AI choose the best category
Publish Settings
Publish Status:
Publish: Go live immediately
Draft: Save as draft for review
Scheduled: Publish at a future date/time
Scheduled Date & Time: When to publish (for scheduled posts)
Timezone: Select your timezone for accurate scheduling

Generating Your Article
After completing all steps, the AI generates your full article. You can then:
Review the generated content
Edit using the built-in editor
Save as draft or publish
Tip: You can save your progress at any step and return later. Your data is automatically saved as you move through the wizard.
