Learn how to upgrade to a higher subscription tier and get more credits and features

Upgrading Your Plan

As your content needs grow, you can upgrade to a higher subscription tier at any time. Upgrades are processed immediately, giving you instant access to more credits and features.

Upgrade Options

You can upgrade based on your current plan:

  • From Solo: Upgrade to Business or Agency

  • From Business: Upgrade to Agency

You can also switch from monthly to yearly billing to save on your subscription.

How to Upgrade

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Subscription

  2. Find the plan you want to upgrade to

  3. Click the "Upgrade to [Plan Name]" button

  4. You'll be redirected to Stripe to complete payment

  5. After payment, your new plan is active immediately

What Happens After Upgrading?

  • Immediate access: Your new plan benefits start right away

  • More credits: You'll receive the higher credit allowance for your new plan

  • More workspaces: Your workspace limit increases based on your new plan

  • Better support: Higher tiers include faster support response times

Billing After Upgrade

When you upgrade:

  • You'll be charged the difference between your current plan and the new plan

  • Your billing cycle may reset depending on the upgrade type

  • Future renewals will be at the new plan's rate

Downgrading or Cancelling

Kalema uses an upgrade-only system through the app. If you need to:

  • Downgrade to a lower plan: Contact our support team

  • Cancel your subscription: Use the Stripe customer portal (link available in your subscription settings)

Tip: Consider upgrading when you consistently run out of credits before your renewal date, or when you need more workspaces for additional projects.
