Managing Your Subscription

Kalema makes it easy to view and manage your subscription. You can check your plan details, view upcoming renewals, and access Stripe's customer portal for billing management.

Viewing Your Subscription Status

To see your current subscription details:

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Subscription

  2. Your current plan is highlighted with a "Current Plan" badge

On this page, you can see:

  • Your current plan: Solo, Business, or Agency

  • Billing cycle: Monthly or Yearly

  • Next renewal date: When your subscription will renew

  • Credit balance: Your available credits

Using the Stripe Customer Portal

For advanced billing management, you can access the Stripe Customer Portal. This allows you to:

  • View and download past invoices

  • Update your payment method

  • View billing history

  • Cancel your subscription

  • Reactivate a cancelled subscription

How to Access the Portal:

  1. Go to Settings β†’ Subscription

  2. Find your current plan card

  3. Click the "Manage Subscription" button

  4. You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure portal

Subscription Cancellation

If you cancel your subscription through the Stripe portal:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period

  • You'll see a warning message showing when your plan will end

  • You can reactivate at any time before the cancellation date

After Your Subscription Ends

If your subscription expires:

  • You won't be able to use AI features that require credits

  • Your purchased credits (permanent) remain in your account

  • Your content, projects, and workspaces are preserved

  • You can resubscribe at any time to restore access

Tip: Set a reminder before your renewal date if you want to make changes to your subscription.
