Writing Style Profiles

Writing Style Profiles let you define your brand voice once and apply it automatically across all content. Create profiles for optimization or content creation, and select them as your Preferred Writer to auto-fill settings.

Accessing Writing Style Profiles

  1. Click Writing Style in the main menu

  2. Choose which profile type to manage

  3. View, create, or edit profiles

Profile Types

There are two types of writing style profiles, each designed for different use cases:

Reformed Editor Profiles

For Pro Mode optimization of existing content. Use these when you want to enhance articles while maintaining a specific style.

Reformed Editor profiles include:

  • Title & Meta Instructions: Guidelines for optimizing titles and meta descriptions

  • Heading Instructions: Rules for restructuring and improving headings

  • Readability Instructions: Style preferences for improving readability

  • Keyword Injection Instructions: How to naturally incorporate keywords

Editor Writer Profiles

For creating new content with Blog and AutoBlog. Use these to generate articles that match your brand voice from the start.

Editor Writer profiles include:

Content Profile

  • Business Type: Blogger, business, agency, consultant, e-commerce, non-profit

  • Article Type: Blog posts, how-to guides, listicles, comparisons, reviews, technical articles

  • Reader Level: Beginners, intermediate, advanced, mixed audience

  • Content Goals: What you want your content to achieve

Writing Style

  • Tone of Voice: Professional, friendly, authoritative, conversational, educational, neutral, enthusiastic

  • Creativity Level: Conservative, factual, balanced, creative, innovative

  • Point of View: First person (I, We), second person (You), third person (They, It)

  • Formality: Casual, semi-formal, formal

Formatting Options

  • Include tables

  • Include lists

  • Include quotes

  • Use bold text

  • Use italic text

Agent Instructions

  • Title & Meta Agent: Custom instructions for generating titles and descriptions

  • Outliner Agent: Custom instructions for creating article outlines

  • Writing Assistant Agent: Custom instructions for content generation

Creating a Profile

  1. Go to Writing Style

  2. Click Reformed Editor or Editor Writer

  3. Click Create New Profile

  4. Fill in the profile details:

    • Author Name: A name to identify this profile

    • Profile Image: Optional avatar URL

    • Description: Brief description of this writing style

  5. Configure the style settings for your profile type

  6. Click Save Profile

Using Profiles as Preferred Writer

The real power of Writing Style Profiles is selecting them as your Preferred Writer:

  1. Start a new Blog or AutoBlog project

  2. In Step 1, select a profile from the Preferred Writer dropdown

  3. Continue through the wizard

  4. Settings in Steps 6 and 8 will be auto-filled from your profile

When auto-filled, you'll see a green notification confirming the settings came from your preferred writer.

Managing Profiles

Editing a Profile

  1. Go to Writing Style

  2. Select the profile type

  3. Find the profile you want to edit

  4. Click Edit

  5. Make your changes

  6. Click Save

Deleting a Profile

  1. Find the profile in the list

  2. Click Delete

  3. Confirm the deletion

Best Practices

  • Create profiles for different content types: Have separate profiles for blog posts, product reviews, and technical guides

  • Match your brand guidelines: Use the same tone and formality you use elsewhere

  • Be specific in agent instructions: The more detail you provide, the better the AI matches your style

  • Test and refine: Generate a few articles and adjust your profile based on results

  • Use descriptive names: Name profiles clearly so you can easily select the right one

Workspace-Specific

Writing Style Profiles are tied to your current workspace. Each workspace can have its own set of profiles, allowing different brands or projects to maintain separate voices.
